Accenture ends global DEI goals, citing President Trump's executive orders

Accenture, one of the world's largest consulting firms, announced it would sunset diversity goals set in 2017, end career development programs for specific demographic groups, stop using diversity targets to measure staff performance, and pause external diversity benchmarking surveys. CEO Julie Sweet cited President Trump's executive orders as requiring compliance. The rollback was applied globally, not just in the US. London's Transport for London subsequently dropped Accenture as a vendor, saying the firm no longer met its diversity criteria for suppliers.
