Tech CEOs receive prime seating at Trump inauguration, ahead of Cabinet nominees

Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai, and Tim Cook sat together in the second row at President Trump's inauguration in the Capitol Rotunda, directly behind the First Family. TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman also attended. The Associated Press noted the seating was "a shift from tradition" since "seats so close to the president are usually reserved for the president's family, past presidents and other honored guests."
