McDonald's ends diversity goals and supplier DEI requirements

McDonald's announced it would retire "aspirational representation goals" for leadership diversity, end its requirement that suppliers commit to DEI pledges, stop participating in external diversity surveys including the Human Rights Campaign index, and rename its diversity team to the "Global Inclusion Team." The company cited the Supreme Court's affirmative action ruling and the "shifting legal landscape."
