Crypto industry donates $18 million to Trump inauguration

Cryptocurrency companies and executives donated approximately $18 million to President Trump's inauguration fund. Ripple Labs led with nearly $5 million (the second-largest donation overall), followed by Robinhood at $2 million, and Coinbase, Kraken (Payward), Circle, and Solana Labs at $1 million each. Shortly after inauguration, the SEC dismissed or paused enforcement actions against multiple crypto donors including Coinbase, Kraken, and Ripple. Trump had promised to make the U.S. the "crypto capital of the world" and he and his family have launched their own coins.
