Des Moines Register fights Trump lawsuit over Iowa Poll

President Trump sued the Des Moines Register, parent company Gannett, and pollster Ann Selzer over the final 2024 Iowa Poll, which showed Kamala Harris leading by 3 points days before Trump won by 13. The lawsuit alleges consumer fraud and election interference. Gannett has refused to settle, stating the lawsuit is "without merit." A separate class-action lawsuit was dismissed in November 2025. Trump dropped his case in federal court and refiled in state court.
