Fossil fuel companies contributed over $19 million to President Trump's 2025 inauguration fund. Chevron led at $2 million, followed by ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, and Occidental Petroleum at $1 million each. Additional contributors included GeoSouthern Energy, Continental Resources, and Energy Transfer. The donations followed Trump's campaign pledge to oil executives to grant their policy priorities in exchange for fundraising support.
