Tractor Supply eliminates DEI roles and ends Pride sponsorships

Tractor Supply Company, the nation's largest rural lifestyle retailer, announced sweeping rollbacks to DEI and environmental programs. The company said it would eliminate all DEI roles and retire DEI goals, stop sponsoring Pride festivals and voting campaigns, withdraw carbon emissions goals, and end participation in the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index. Tractor Supply had earned a 95/100 HRC score in 2023. The company stated it had "heard from customers that we have disappointed them" and would refocus on "rural America priorities."
